Summer is around the corner.....
Snow may be falling outside but GEM is gearing up for an exciting summer...
UT student Nathaniel Sprouse will be spending approximately two months in Ladario, Mato Grosso do Sul, this summer. He will be teaching English, working on the Farm of Encouragement, and carrying on ministry with Roberto Flores. Nathaniel has a working knowledge of Portuguese. This is his second summer in Brazil. We welcome Nathaniel as a GEM Encourager!
Volunteers from Marks and Oxford, Mississippi, will be leaving June 13. The team will be impacting a community where a church is being planted. They will be working with 4th Baptist Church doing medical, evangelism, as well as youth and children's work.
Volunteers from Judson Baptist, others in the Nashville area, and from South Carolina will be working on a very special mission trip beginning June 21. This team will be doing "renovation revivals" for several special families in the area of New Alliance. These are people in desperate situations and
will be impacted by the love of the Lord expressed by those who come to lay brick, paint, decorate and lead Bible studies.
Needed: people who can share God's love with families, who know how to clean, paint, visit, walk, pray, smile and hug!
