Carl and Wanda King
Carl and Wanda King served over 16 years as missionaries to the Center West of Brazil, serving in Mato Grosso do Sul. When they returned to the US in 2002, they were living in the gateway to the Pantanal, Corumba.
Encouraged by teams who had partnered with them for many years, the Kings began GEM in 2004.
They now reside in Nashville, TN. Carl serves as pastor of Mill Creek Baptist Church and also works as a physician's assistant. Wanda has for many years worked on a contract basis with LifeWay Christian Resources as a writer and editor. The Kings raised three children in Brazil -- Lorie, Daniel, and Andrew.
Carl coordinates the teams that travel to Brazil each year and shepherds the on-the-field members of our team. Wanda works with the financial records and office duties. |
