Welcome Roberto Flores
We are excited to welcome Roberto Flores to the GEM family in Corumba, Mato Grosso do Sul, Brazil.
A graduate of the Baptist Theological Seminary in Londrina, Parana, Roberto is the son of Afonsil and Dalva Flores,
Brazilian missionaries to Mozambique. We have known the Flores family since our early days in Campo Grande--
a family who love the Lord and have dedicated their lives to sharing the gospel.

Roberto brings a compassionate, caring spirit to the ministry in Corumba. His mission experiences through
his ministry and from time helping his parents in Africa give him a special perspective as he works with the
GEM ministries in Corumba. If you traveled with us this year, then you know what a special young man he is.

Roberto, who has worked as a translator with GEM for two years, will be coordinating details for the mission trips in 2010.
He is hard at work pulling together the administration of the Farm of Encouragement, helping with the baseball ministry as he can,
and publicizing the Pantanal Project and Jacob's Well ministries in Brazil.

Pray for Roberto. And pray for GEM that we can remain faithful to our monthly commitment to his full-time support.

Thought of the Day
God gave us two ears and only one mouth, which indicates we should listen twice as much as we talk.
Verse of the Day
"Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom, and as you sing psalms, hymns and spiritual songs with gratitude in your hearts to God."
Colossians 3:16
